The mouse is in the muffin! :dance:

Yes indeed: this is my entry for the '7 Deadly Sins' photography contest! Of course, it represents Gluttony - an over-indulgence of muffin! haha I was just thinking: I should submit an 'after' picture, with the empty muffin paper case and a hugely bloated mouse! :lmao:

Aaaanywayz, I really like how this came out. The colour is much more subtle than my previous attempt, but I think this actually conveys the concept more strongly than the first. I deliberated for a long time about whether or not I should include the little heart, and tried many different ways of doing it, to make it fit in with the rest of the image. After consulting ~Pantaleon I decided that I would keep it in; to be honest, I really like the way the bright pink/red of the heart is offset by the pale blues and deep browns and think it adds positively to the message of the photograph. Please feel free to disagree though! ^^;

hahaha yeh i knooo! As I was working on this in photoshop I was getting such a huge chocolate craving! And the worse part - the muffin had actually been sitting around in my room at uni for about 3 weeks, and when I opened it it was reeaally mouldy on one side, so I couldn't even eat it afterwards! :cries: lol

This is so absolutely adorable and clever! I love the Avarice one too, but this one... It's so great! He's eating his way right down through the muffin! Teehee!

What is the mouse out of? It looks a little like modeling clay or something. Did you make it too?
